Hooray! I can’t believe I’m saying this, but Los Angeles Ale Works is actually happening! The past 6 months have been a huge turning point for me and the company as a whole. We officially and successfully finished our first fundraising round with a small pool of talented friends, family, and co-workers. Additionally we secured a building that’ll serve as the manufacturing brewery and taproom. The location is the biggest news here! Located in Hawthorne, this beautiful classic brick building is 9600 square feet of pure possibility and–bonus!–it comes with its very own parking lot. Fantastic!
I’m extremely excited to be opening up this new chapter in the Los Angeles Ale Works story book, but I’m not doing it alone. I’ve partnered with two incredibly awesome dudes, Andrew Fowler and Jeff Szafarski, who are, in addition to their MBA’s, bringing their creativity, organization, and positivity, to help ensure this project reaches its full potential.
It’s been a long road to get here with many bumps, twists, and turns on the way. Undoubtedly there will be many more challenges on the path to opening, but it’s exciting to be at this stage, and we couldn’t be more happy to be landing ourselves in Hawthorne! And hey, we’re only three miles away from the new stadium project in Inglewood, and we’re right across the street from one of coolest space companies on planet.
Hawthorne, Q4 2016, here we come!
