Strand Brewing Bottle Release 3/16

StrandBrewing_06_BottleLineupCalling all LA, South Bay, and Strand Brewing Co fans!

Strand Brewing will be releasing bottled versions of their beers starting Saturday, March 16th from 12:00-8:00.  Bierkast recently attended an exclusive pre-party and tasting with Rich Marcello and Joel Elliott.

StrandBrewing_08_BahgeeraOn tap were Strand’s flagships: 24th Street Pale Ale, Attitcus IPA, Beach House Amber Ale, Second Sleep Imperial Stout, and the spiced 3rd Anniversary beer, Bagheera East IPA.  Bagheera was a balanced yet assertive spiced beer highlighting flavors from India, hence its naming after the popular panther character in the Rudyard Kipling classis, The Jungle Book.  Also featured on tap, Second Sleep, is a deep and rich Imperial Stout whose straight ahead nature sets it apart.

Release

Each beer is bottled in 16oz glass and adorned with the signature strand brewing logo.  Joel focused on simplicity, but makes a strong branding statement using 2-3 colors on each label.  It’ll, no doubt, be easy to spot these in the bottle shops around LA which will make it even easier for every Angelino to get access this local beer.

Get your palates and bottle coolers ready. The party starts at noon and ends at 8pm this Saturday, March 16th, and in case you needed more incentive, they’ll be releasing their White Sand Double IPA on draft and tapping a cask of Oaked Second Sleep at noon.  So get your first sleep on and then head to Strand on Saturday for your second.
