Movember at ERB

Movember (n.) – the month of November when men of all ages grow glorious mustaches to raise awareness for men’s health and in particular, prostate cancer.

Craft brewers and Movember go together like peanut butter and jelly. No less than 90% of all craft brewers sport some kind of beard, goatee, mustache, or side burns. So it should come as no surprise that one of LA’s most well known craft brewers is stepping it up and leading the way for Movember. To make it extra special this year, three of ERB’s most recognizable facial hair extraordinaires are putting their own whiskers on the line. Lee, Andrew, and Erik will be clean shaven for the first time in their ERB tenures if (and only if!) the ERB team can meet its Movember fundraising goal of $2,000.

Straight from the brewery:

“Raise funds and awareness for men’s health…and drink a beer while doing it! Nov. 30th we’ll have the folks from Bolt Barbers here to shave off your Movember ‘stash, and if you help us raise $2000, Lee and Andrew will shave their faces!!! Beer and a pretty face, what more do you need?”

There are very few things in life with such an obviously awesome risk/reward ratio. Please support this amazing cause and help rid Andrew, Lee, and Erik of the shackles of facial hair by going to Eagle Rock Brewery’s team site (click here) and donate as much as you feel comfortable with.

As an added bonus, on November 30th come out to the brewery and have the Bolt Barbers mobile unit shave your Movember stache while you enjoy an Eagle Rock pint. It’ll cost $25, and all proceeds go to Movember.

So we say please donate now–the ERB team needs your support!
