LA Beer Week Begins!
Bierkast will be out and about tomorrow, but unfortunately we won’t be checking in from the Stone store’s soft opening (sold out!). Instead we’ll be at a few events around town. If you see some of the Bierkast crew don’t be shy, say hi! Here’s a preview of where we’ll be!

1. HAVEN GASTROPUB
A Day with Stone Brewing!
8 am – 3 pm / Meet the Brewers Reception with Casks: 6 pm – 7 pm
Collaboration Brew + Meet the Brewers Night
Stone Brewing is coming to Haven Gastropub + Brewery Pasadena to kick off LABW with a collaboration brew! Note: this is the Brew Day of the actual collaboration beer (Stone’s first-ever Los Angeles-based collab), so it will not be available to sample, but EIGHT other Stone collaboration beers will be pouring throughout the day as well as 4 casks handpicked by the Stone brewers themselves. The brew will go till 3 pm, and the brewers will be back on site at 6 pm for a Meet The Brewers reception with Stone Brewing Co-Founder Steve Wagner in attendance to meet and greet guests.

Join us as we kick off LA Beer Week in a BIG way. Dogfish Head is taking over Far Bar for the evening! The infamous Randall will also be making an appearance as we’ll be doing a special beer-infusion for this event along with Godzilla flicks on the screen all night long.

Thursday the 20th: Celebrate LA Beer Week with Cismontane Brewing Co.’s head-brewer Evan Weinberg. Evan is bringing some new beers and some classics as well as a cask. Chef Tony will create a special Grilled Cheese for the night. Pork belly??

Angel City Brewery + others
Celebrate LA’s Local Craft Breweries at Naja’s! Angel City Brewery will be giving the South Bay a sneak peek of their first two releases. The fun starts at 8 p.m.
