Mark your calendar because this Sunday the first annual LA Chinatown Springfest is upon us! A portion of the historic Spring Street in Chinatown is hosting what promises to be an amazing variety of art, music, beer, and BBQ. Our friends at Spring Street Smokehouse are spearheading the effort that has brought this great idea into an amazing reality.
The guys at Spring Street Smokehouse have long been known for cranking out delicious BBQ and pairing it with great beer (see our prior review here). Jason Kruger, Smokehouse general manager, has taken some of the magic he brings to the Smokehouse beer/food pairing dinners and shared it with Springfest, creating an awesome beer garden line up. Here is a preview of what’s to come!
* Music performances curated by Caveman Vintage Music featuring: The Sloths, The Blessings, Stephen Sowan, The Finksville 5 and Whispertown.
* Live art performances by Megan Stevens, AHHD, Jamie Garden, Jesse Castillo, and Victoria Ramirez.
* Outdoor Biergarten featuring Bootlegger’s, Karl Strauss, Golden Road Brewing, Stone & Lagunitas
