Ladies, it is Women’s History Month. It is important that you celebrate your woman-li-ness. Do not let this rare opportunity pass you by. Now, if you’re wondering how to most effectively celebrate the aforementioned woman-li-ness, I have a suggestion:
WOMEN’S BEER FORUM AT EAGLE ROCK – 1 Year Anniversary
Wednesday, March 21 7:00-9:00
The third Wednesday of every month, the fabulous co-owner of Eagle Rock Brewery, Ting, hosts a women’s beer forum. It’s a time for us beer-loving ladies to gather in the brewery and drink a tasty flight put together by Ting herself.
Each month has a theme. Last month it was “beer and chocolate” (more on that in a second), and this month it’s going to be a special paring designed by head chef of City Tavern, Jessica Christensen. If you haven’t been to City Tavern, the gravity of this announcement may have eluded you, so let me put it this way: this is going to be really damn good.
Last month’s beer and chocolate pairing was simply ah-may-zing. Each of the four beers was paired with a decadent chocolate truffle from Mignon. The chocolates blended so well with the beers, creating a completely different tasting experience than the beer or chocolate offered alone. And the chocolates from Mignon were simply delicious. I hadn’t realized how long it had been since I’d had some really good chocolate. I mean, damn.
So don’t miss this month’s women’s beer forum. Be sure to register online (you must create an account first); space fills up fast!
